Subject: tournament report to post

Well I was all ready to go to the weekly tournament held at the Bargain Box 
in central Ohio.  It was a standard tournament and the winner would get a 
box of Odessy second place getting half a box.  I decided to play Finkula. 
Since I didn't have all the cards I went in early to trade or two 
shadowmages and two meddling mages.  So heres the decklist.

Enough with that onto the tournament. I didn't know this at first but this 
was going to be my favorite tournament as I beat Walter Huber.  Although he 
isn't a pro he is an excellent player and a nice person.
ROUND 1
There ended up being an odd amount of people and I got a bye.
Round 2 Chris (Burn)
Chris is fairly new to magic and can't quite understand what type 2 means 
and he has extended cards in his deck the judge sees that and disqalifies 
him
Well I'm 2-0 without even breaking a sweat. This is almost too good to be 
true.
Round three walter (WW)
first game he gets out mystic crusader and long bow archer I recoil both of 
them and he replays them after discarding land.  Then I cast wrath of god 
killing about three of his creatures.  Then I drop Finkel.With him I mainly 
draw counters and I counter his creatures and removal spells. He and 
meddling mage go all the way.  Game two I stay the same and he sides in alot 
of stuff Uh-Oh.  He keeps a two land hand and ends up drawin no more on my 
third tun I tap out for a finkel cause he has no land finkel goes pretty far 
and when Walter does get his other land I've built up way too many counters
3-0
Since not many people show up I'm already in the semi-finals.  After a soda 
I sit down for the semi-finals.
Semi finals Kenneth (Upheavel)
He keeps a two land hand game one and we played a practice match before the 
tournament so I know what he is playing Anyway I drop a turn two meddling 
mage on Upheavel His attempts to repulse it were met with counters and soon 
the lynx joins to help him out and they go all the way.  Once again I don't 
sideboard and I get an early mage o upheavel again except this time finkel 
helps him out together they deal 20 points while the card advantage lets me 
cast counter after counter.
Finals once again I get to take the easy road.  terry the person I'm paired 
against wants to get home so he concedes to me and I get a box of Odessy it 
had another finkel for my ollection and a foil thought devourer. Not the 
best card in the world but It'll do I guess.
