Subject: killer combo decks - type:fun hugo stender

Hi there,
The first deck is based on the combo sliver queen - ashnod's altar - 
heartstone. It's an old combo, but I think it's really fun to play, 
especially against people who don't know what's comming. First I'll explain 
the combo: sliver queen let's you create a token for each 2 mana you pump 
into it. heartstone reduces this cost to 1, ashnod's altar let's you sac 
these tokens for 2 mana, leaving you with an unlimetid amount of tokens. 
Because this is a difficult combo to put into play fast, you'll have to 
stall you're opponent. Light of day/ darkest hour will do the trick. and if 
that doesn't work: worship / crystaline sliver will

1 sliver queen
4 heartstone
4 ashnod's altar
4 darkest hour
4 light of day
4 birds of paradise
4 pattern of rebirth
4 academy rector
3 vampiric tutor
2 acidic sliver
4 crystaline sliver
2 worship

4 city of brass
3 reflecting pool
3 gemstone mine
2 trann quarry
pain / revised lands



The second deck won't finish your opponent off instantly, but it gets close 
enough. the combo is very simple. again, you'll need an ashnod's altar, a 
sapproling cluster and 1 or more fecunditys. once you have 1 or more 
fecunditys in play, a cluster and an altar, create a token, sac it, DRAW A 
CARD (yes it works, graveyard ability's will be triggered), and continue 
this until you're almost drawn up your deck, play a tran foundry and create 
a lotta tokens and put your collosus into play. next turn. Kill.

4 saproling cluster

4 ashnod's altar
4 birds of paradise
4 phyrexian collosus
2 tran foundry

this is the base for the deck. you can add some more search cards to get out 
your combo even faster, or put some nasty creatures in to speed things up.
