From: Josh Contois To: StrategyGuide@pojo.com Subject: "Tri-Color Torture" Hello again. After many hours and tireless practicing, I believe that I have found a much more practible Darigaaz Deck, rightly dubbed: "Tri-Color Torture" Here ya go: Land - (24) 2x Llanowar Wastes 2x Sulfurious Springs 2x Shivan Oasis 2x Urborg Volcano 2x Darigaaz's Caldera 5x Mountain 5x Forest 4x Swamp Creatures - (17) 2x Llanowar Elves 2x Llanowar Dead 2x Darigaaz, the Igniter 2x Spiritmonger 2x Shivan Wurm 3x Flametounge Kavu 2x Thunderscape Battlemage 1x Skizzik 1x Kavu Titan Artifacts - (6) 3x Darigaaz's Attendant 2x Star Compass 1x Dragon Arch Spells - (13) 2x Fires of Yavimaya 2x Consume Strength 2x Pernicious Deed 2x Darigaaz's Charm 2x Keldon Mantle 2x Terminate 1z Urza's Rage Sideboard - (15) 1x Flametounge Kavu 3x Kavu Chameleon 1x Fires of Yavimaya 2x Reckless Charge 2x Sylvan Might 1x Ghitu fire 2x Saproling Burst 2x Ebony Treefolk 1x Blazing Specter Now here's how it works: Land - Not much to explain here, by using the colorless mana, it's like having 12-13 of each color. Creatures - A few cheapies to help mana production or do some damage, such as the elves and battlemages. Then I added some "fatties" to get out relatively quickly and just attack over and over and over again. The Kavu help with clearing the way. Artifacts - Help mana production and creature production. Spells - Clear a path or offer an extra kick, such as Terminate and Consume Strength Sideboard - Got bored of the same old cards? Try something new. Kavu for the Treefolk and Charms for the charges. The rest is up to you. If you have any questions or tweaking ideas, mail me at j_contois@yahoo.com Peace Out.
