Hi, in a local card shop I visit they occasionally run "commons tournaments". As I was reading your peasant deck idea I realized my commons deck fits in quite nicely into the peasant theme. Its a green white beatdown/life gain deck. It works quite well and has a number of victories under its belt. The deck list is as follows: 2x Pigmy Troll 4x Giant Growth 2x Kithkin Armor 2x Llanowar Night 3x Congregate 2x Sole Warden 4x Rancor 2x Standard Bearer 4x Soltari Foot Soldier 2x Fog 2x Wall of Glare 3x Inviolability 4x Armadillo Cloak 4x Ancestral Mask 2x Disenchant 4x Llanowar Elves 4x River Boa 8x Plains 14x Forests Sideboard 2x Mask of Law and Grace 2x Shield of duty and reason 2x Disenchant 2x CoP Green 2x CoP Red 2x CoP Black 2x CoP White 1x CoP Blue I know what your thinking, 72 cards WOW. But it does work, and work well. The Inviolability/Wall of Glare combo takes car of all ground threats while the Fogs and life gain keep me alive to pound away with my beefed up creatures. Now since your Peasant rules say you can have 5 uncommons I would switch out 2x Soltari Foot Soldiers and 2x Standard Bearers for 4x Rabit Wombats. The wombat with an Ancestral Mask is a force to be reckoned with. Well anyway thats my deck, thanks for listening. -MagicPotato (Magic_Potato@yahoo.com) ===== Image by FlamingText.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
