01.18.02  - Here is my deck. I like it because its easy to play.

4 call of the herd
4 lanowar elves
1 kavu titan
2 fact or fiction
4 gea's skyfolk
4 mystic snake
3 wild mongrel
3 syncopate
4 counterspell
3 repulse
2 rites of refusal
3 werebear
11 island
9 forest
4 yavimaya coast.

---------------------

A fairly solid Standard build of the popular "Tempo" deck that was so popular in Invasion Block.  I'd like to see the deck lean more towards aggression than control, I think this deck will function best with early beats backed by just enough disruption to prevent the opponent from keeping up with you.

Having said that, Rites of Refusal are right out!  Card disadvantage sucks (unless your Force of Will) and this card is BY NO MEANS Force of Will!  =)

I'd also yank Werebear because he doesn't become a presence on offense until later in the game... hopefully we'll have already won by then.

Cards I'd like to add would be Diligent Farmhand and Muscle Burst.  Diligent Farmhand is just as good a one drop as Llanowar IMO and he gives the deck an even more aggressive feel.  Muscle Burst is an excellent version of Giant Growth that will make all the decks weenies much harder for the opponent to deal with and can save your best creature from burn spells or even FTK!  Combined, Farmhand and Burst obviously work very well together.

Here's my version... certainly not killer but fun as heck to play!  =)

4 Diligent Farmhand
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Gaea's Skyfolk
4 Wild Mongrel
4 Call of the Herd
4 Mystic Snake

4 Syncopate
4 Repulse
4 Muscle Burst
2 Fact or Fiction

4 Yavimaya Coast
10 Forests
8 Islands

The Llanowars and Farmhands allow the deck to run a light land count... perhaps playtesting would reveal 22 lands may be too much.  This makes for an interesting dilemma for the opponent... waste early burn/removal on the mana producers or save it for the Bears and Giants?

Hope this helps... have fun!
