Well, I certainly make up for their sparsity with length, now don't I? LOL  Here's the next one:

Hi my name is Franklin and I have read some of your previous articles and was wondering if you could fix my deck. it was the second deck I made and is my favorite but it loses often never winning a two out of three match. I play against a 3 color sliver deck that runs both Pulmonic, Wing, and Spinneret sliver :( It usually starts with a Gemhide Sliver or Sinew Sliver and then it procedes to build up to 2x Might Sliver and at least 1 Fury Sliver. the good news is that I’m quite dead before that. The other deck I play against is a green black deck that features mana acceleration, big trampling monsters, madness, and recursion. My main goal is to at least win every now and then. I have recently obtained a Pride of clouds which is the center point of my deck. I have only obtained one but plan to purchase more. As of now my plan is to swing with my fliers but I am always stalled. I have tried to fix my deck but i cannot figure out what to change. Can you please help me. Thank you in advance.

    Well, I’m more than willing to give advice!  First, let me apologize to you Franklin, and to many others out there who sent their decks in but got no reply.  Between working and school (which could also be considered working) I’m very strained for time and balancing my “me” time with the Deck Garage can be tricky, but I shall try to dig into the rather large list of decks I have to fix and fix them as quickly as possible!  Now, let’s take a look at this deck, shall we?
    The deck’s concept is fairly straight forward,
use evasive creatures and abilities to take out the opponent.  This is a tried and true strategy for many a white/blue mage, and I can seem multiple different elements within this deck that can work together, but can also pull away from the synergy of the deck.  It’s very important that our reader’s understand that this deck, while achieving victory through attacking, is not an aggro deck, but instead a control deck.  The play style here is the ever annoying “Draw, Go” style.  This involves drawing a card, leaving all your mana untapped, and countering what ever threats your opponent may attempt, while occasionally dropping a threat yourself.  In it’s current form, this deck lacks the kind of control needed to obtain victory with any kind of certainty.
    With this in mind, let’s take a look at the creatures in the deck.  Azorius First-Wing is a decent card, a 2/2 for W/U with flying and protection from enchantments is a decent creature and, being the lover of 3 of’s that I am, I think 3 will be fine.  Next up is Pride of the Clouds.  As you said yourself, his ability via Forecast is quite useful, particularly in this kind of deck so be certain to acquire 3 other copies of it.  And then there was Gossamer Phantasm.  I’m going to be honest, while this card doesn’t outright suck, I’ve never been a fan of “target me with a spell or ability and I die” monsters, particularly when they are 2/1’s (and already fragile), so drop it.  The next creature on the block is Windreaver, the heir apparent to the ever delicious Morphling, whose fearsome powers made him quite the force once upon a time.  Has his multi-colored counterpart made as much of a splash?  Eh, not so much.  Blame it on the success of W/B/U Solar Flare and W/B Orzhov decks (I always knew Orzhov would make it big) that our Elemental friend didn’t reach such monumental status.  It did however show up in several high end deck lists, and I personally think it’s a great card, so it’ll stay.  Magus of the Disk will always have a place in my heart because it emulates one of the most feared artifacts in Magic, Nevinyrral’s Disk.  It is however a creature with far more vulnerability than the Disk, and it doesn’t really work well with what your deck seeks to do, particularly with just 1 copy of it, so it can come out.  Next up is Sky Hussar.  What can be said about our friend here?  He cost’s as much as Windreaver, yet isn’t nearly as good.  However, his Forecast ability could prove relevant particularly in a deck that can’t squander it’s mana on card drawing spells.  So, for now I’d say reduce his number to 2 in the deck, since he’ll most likely be a functioning almost always as a utility spell.  Azorius Herald is the next creature in this procession, and his unblockability, plus the 4 life you gain isn’t bad at all.  Just remember that you have to spend U in it’s casting cost or it would get to stick around to lay into your opponent.  Walking Archive is a very interesting creature, however, just 1 won’t cut it, and it’s ability is far too symmetrical for it’s own good.  You don’t want your opponent generating card advantage do you?  Voidstone Gargoyle and Isperia the Inscrutable suffer from the same lack of relevance we’ve seen before.  The Gargoyle functions like a poor substitute for Meddling Mage, and Isperia, while delightfully large and with a clever ability, just doesn’t click with anything in your deck to the degree that it’s worth keeping.  That’s it for the creatures!  Normally I’d list several creatures that could make replacements for the ones we’ve taken out, but honestly those slots are better used for more spells.
    Now we can take a look at your non-creature spells
.  Azorius Signet is fine for mana-fixing, and 1 mana of any color for WU isn’t bad.  The lone copy of Akroma’s Memorial seems to have lost it’s way looking for a nasty beats deck with lots of mana acceleration.  At 7 mana it will just take too long to get out and then how relevant will it’s ability be on a handful of 1/1 bird tokens and perhaps a couple other creatures?  Intervention Pact, while interesting like all the other Pacts, does not belong in this kind of deck, and that “you lose if you don’t pay 1WW” is just a tad too intimidation for my tastes.  Sunscour serves as a “wrath” effect, like the Magus, but at 5WW or two white cards removed from the game, it’s not worth it, particularly with just the single copy of it.  Marshaling Cry is interesting indeed.  For 1WW you can give all your creatures +1/+1 and vigilance until end of turn, and Flashback it later.  Or you could cycle it and then Flashback it.  It’s definitely not bad, but that WW casting requirement for a combat trick in this deck makes me wonder.  If you’d like, take it out and add in Fortify instead.  For 2W you can either give all your creatures a power or toughness boost of +2.  This is a combat trick no one likes to see, and can seriously make your opponent regret letting a few of those 1/1 flyer’s through.  Overrule is a decent counter with some life gain attached, but I think it’s a bit too complex for it’s own good.  Instead, you should replace it with a simpler, but more often successful counter variant.  The cards I feel this deck would best benefit from are Mana Leak, Rune Snag, Boomerang, and Evacuation (in addition to the Fortify’s mentioned above).  The Mana Leak and Rune Snag are both representative of the standard of countering only matched by the original Counterspell.  Boomerang can make quick work of that pesky Sliver that’s giving all it’s breatheren a nasty power boost.  And Evacuation is a far more devious way to deal with decks that like to assemble an army.  While they might be prepared for “wrath” effects, the occurrence of every creature returning to their hand can be very bad.  The best part of it all is watching with grim satisfaction as they have to pick which of their cards to discard should you fill their hand nicely.
    On a final note, I reduced your land count from 24 to 23.  24 is a fine number, but with the changes to your deck I’ve suggested, I think 23 land would work nicely.  Well, I hope I’ve been of some service to you Franklin, I know proudly present to you a sample deck, which I’ve named, “Cats, Birds, and Counterspells,” (for some reason I wanted this to sound more like Bed knobs and Broomsticks… I’ve got Angela Lansbury on the brain it would seem).  May all your duels end with you soaring to victory!
