Drake Haven

Because of its mana cost and interaction with cycling, Drake Haven will almost inevitably be compared to Astral Slide; it is probably not as purely powerful as that famous combo enabler, but I think the better comparison is actually to Lightning Rift. Both of them are self-contained and don't technically require any additional cards beyond the ones you're cycling. While Drake Haven requires you to attack to win, that is not always a problem, as the source of your tokens will be hard for many opponents to interact with, especially if you can fit in recursion elements like Shadow of the Grave or Life from the Loam.

Drake Haven (9/15)

Drake Haven is probably the enabler of the Cycling deck, and it's absurd. Getting a 2/2 with flying for 1 extra mana with each cycling effect is ridiculous, and it makes the sort of deck comprised of a bunch of cycling effects and these viable. The downside is that it needs to sit around to do anything, and that's rarely great. But three mana is still affordable enough to get it to the board in a timely fashion, it synergizes amazingly with a lot of cards, and it can win you the game handily. What's not to love?
