I never really understood what was going on in the original art for this card from Invasion, with one of Urza's power armor suits. I'm not sure I understand what's going on in this new art, for that matter. For many people, though, that will be secondary to the possibility of destroying every creature an opponent controls and making them discard their entire hand. Unfortunately, the sorts of decks that are likely to be vulnerable to that will also often kill you before you can afford to cast Void, and I worry that the rise of midrange decks in every format leaves many opponents with built-in insurance. But when you do get it off, it can be absolutely devastating.

Actually, come to think of it, if your setting allows Rare-B-Gone, it will do much the same thing, maybe even more often!
