Paleoloth is one of those creatures that has a powerful ability and is certainly not bad in any objective measure, but there may not be room for in competitive play. Despite the historical power of graveyard recursion, constructed formats aren't set up right now for such an ability attached to a six-mana creature. Naya Ramp/Midrange is a powerful casual deck, though, and I shudder to think about what this guy could do in Elder Dragon Highlander!

Constructed: There are alot of better Beast with better ablities for high level play.

Casual: It could see some kitchen table play in some of those pesky Elf decks.

Limited: This card is great if you can get creatures with some type of come into play effect or go into the graveyard effect to. Just remember to stock up on 5 power or higher creatures.

Overall a good limited card.

Constructed: 2

Casual: 3

Limited: 3
