Double Cleave

Double Cleave isn't quite removal, and it's not quite creature boost, but sometimes it can be either. Most of the time, though, I'd rather play another creature or a spell that's more relevant even if you don't have a creature.

Double Cleave

Constructed: Nice little instant to play around with for combat tricks and driving in with more damage. Not to exciting Standard or Block.

Casual: Throw a few of these in with big red decks with Dragons in them. Make their fire even more dangerous.

Limited: Need creatures to win Limited games, that is what most players give as the most important advice. But your creature need a edge over the rest of them. This is one of those little surprise cards that can swing the game around.

Overall a good card with it's place in the world of Magic.

Casual: 2

Limited: 3
