You thought Wren's Run Vanquisher had a drawback? Whoa. On the other hand, between all the cheap green creatures, Manamorphose, and older formats' fun things like Bounty of the Hunt, Land Grant, and Vine Dryad, it might just be a little easier than it looks. It's sure to be a popular card in fun games, and might even see competitive play too.

Monday, Labor Day

Talara's Battalion

 

Constructed: This little elf came out of the gates smoking. Very nice size for it's costs. The 3 toughness makes it fairly easy to kill. It is easy to get out on second turn with Manamorphose.

 

Casual: Everybody has a casual Elf deck, right?

 

Limited: Draft if it is the first or second pack I would pick it first. Last pack will be a hate draft unless I am into green. Very good creature for any build, Sealed if I had a couple of Manamorphoses that would be awesome. It is great for early game but there are others that are alot better for the mid to late game.

 

Overall a fantastic Elf Warrior. They did not make many elves in Eventide, but the few they did make are really good.
