Master of Etherium

Does the existence of this card mean that artifacts are a recognized "tribe" now? Myr Enforcer, Phyrexian Ironfoot, and Razormane Masticore were scary enough by themselves, but now they and all the other little tin soldiers have a commander, a banner to rally under. God help us all.

Constructed: 3/5 (higher if you play artifact lands)

Master of Etherium

Constructed: Affinity has a new toy to play with. But standard this could make a Scarecrow deck playable. Or at least fun. Good in Esper also.

Casual: Just another */*, pump up others, etc.

Limited: If you get a great Esper sealed pool and this would be awesome. But overall not that great for sealed or limited. Draft I could see drafting heavy in the Esper colors to make him work.

Overall a good card, but it will really shine in affinity.

Artifact Creature - Vedalken Wizard

Master of Etherium's power and toughness are each equal to the number of artifacts you control.
Other artifact creatures you control get +1/+1.

Another nice Esper card. If the artifact lands were still around this would be one hell of a card. Without them its still a strong card. Controlling 3 other artifacts boosts it to a 4/4, plus it acts as a Glorious Anthem. Nice in all formats but like yesterdays card I don't think its going to find a home to support it, but I could be wrong, it all depends on how the metagame shifts.

Constructed: 2.5/5

Casual: 3.5/5
Limited 4/5
