Sharuum the Hegemon

I think if you approached this card in a technical manner, counting the number of mana symbols that each of its characteristics "should" cost individually, you might find it to be one of the most undercosted creatures ever printed. Only a deck with a good long game (or, um, Tinker) should even think about the Hegemon, but the possibilities once you get there are huge: re-using even a single Courier's Capsule or Pyrite Spellbomb at the right time can be devastating.

Sharuum the Hegemon

Constructed: This is a good card with a great ability, basically you get two cards in play for the price of six mana. It could see some play in Esper builds, but it is a little too slow for standard. Maybe one copy for your six mana slot to reuse a couple of good artifacts. You can even use Makeshift Mannequin to return the Sharuum the Hegemon and get another artifact card into play.

Casual: It is a 5/5 for six mana. Should be a hit with the casual crowd.

Limited: This is one of the Mythic bombs for sealed or draft. Sealed it can get more out of any Capsules you may have open up. Draft I would try to draft a deck around this card. Would not pass this card.

Overall a fun card that should see some serious play for it's ability.

When Sharuum the Hegemon comes into play, you may return target artifact card from your graveyard to play.

5/5

Quite the powerful card. It has he qualities of a QnT (QuickAndToast) maindeck card, but seeing as it only targets artifacts is unlikely to make it there. However it is by no means a bad cad, far from it. A 5/5 with relevant ability is always nice. In limited if your in Esper, run this. It can end games all by itself and anything it recurs is likely to speed up the process (Another artifact creature, a capsule etc)
In casual its a nice addition to artifact decks. I think its downfall is in constructed however, while it is a powerful card I don't think we are going to see a powerful deck to support it.
