Prismatic Omen

Basically a non-creature version of Joiner Adept, this card will not be too useful in constructed. Generally constructed decks prefer to put as much of their color-fixing into lands so as to have more room for threats and other relevant cards; with Standard's pain lands, Gemstone Mine, vivid lands, Reflecting Pool, hybrid lands, and the promise of more hybrid lands in Eventide, it won't really fit in there, much less Extended.

(What is the deal with all those multicolor lands, anyway? I thought most blocks weren't supposed to be multicolor-themed.)

In casual and limited, anything that makes it easier to play your spells is a very good thing. Play it early, play it often. If you have older cards, try it with Allied Strategies or Tribal Flames.

Prismatic Omen

On the surface it looks ok, but no deck should need Prismatic Omen because its screwed if its player doesn't draw Prismatic Omen. So instead of playing Prismatic Omen, just build a better land base or just some land searching effects to accelerate and fix mana. Its only remote use is to power out casual combos that just require a bunch of different coloured mana.

Prismatic Omen

This card is going to be fun. It opens you up to landwalk, but it cures all color screw. Also, it alters their landtypes, so they count towards Corrupt, Jaws of Stone, etc. It is a great facilitator, but it doesn’t affect the board at all.

In limited, if you need this card badly enough to play it, you are already doomed.

Prismatic Omen

Happy Friday the 13th.

Constructed: Not much use for this card unless you what to play the Victory card in a mono color deck.

Casual: Not very exciting to the casual crowd. They all look at it funny. Maybe it's Friday the 13th. Ummm.

Limited: Not very useful her either.

Multi-color deck: get a bunch of wolves, divide up alot of damage with the Jaws of Stone, Corrupt? Or how about drawing some cards.  Someboby help me please.
