Grifter’s Blade
Part Equipment, part combat trick. A bit expensive as a combat trick, but as an Equipment it makes up for it since the first Equip is free, and at instant speed. And since Blue doesn’t usually get combat tricks, the high cost is a necessary evil.
Constructed- 2
Casual- 3.5
Limited- 3

Brock

Today’s card is Grifter’s Blade, a 3 mana equipment that does nothing that hasn’t been done better by other cards.

You may play Grifter’s Blade any time you could play an instant.

As Grifter’s Blade comes into play, choose a creature you control it could be attached to. If you do, it comes into play attached to that creature.
Equipped creature gets +1/+1.
Equip 1

Limited: I thought Ravnica block was the Aura block? 1.5 out of 5

Constructed: Can’t I just play with Umezawa’s Jitte instead? 1 out of 5

Casual: Is it too soon to get nostalgic for Mirrodin? 2 out of 5
