Life of the Loam

HOT card right now. Used in several decks, and often in the sideboard against Land Destruction (LD) decks. This has really shot this cards price up and availability down. While it kind of sucks in limited, you still will usually take it because of it's high trade/sell value. It could definitely help pay for your draft, win or lose. In casual, a nice combo card, but a bit expensive.

Constructed - 4.5
Casual - 4.5
Limited - 1.5 for playability, 4.5 for value

Life From the Loam

I mentioned recently that this is my favorite Dredge card. I stand by that. I knew this was going to be a huge impact card as soon as I saw it. It's not too often that a single card is an engine in and of itself. Loam is already well-documented in what it's doing to the current Extended environment (where cycling lands can turn it into a huge card advantage engine instead of just a pretty good one). I feel that it won't be long before it has a similar effect on Standard. It's even good in limited, sometimes. And it just looks cool, too.

Constructed Rating - 3.8
Casual Rating - 3.2
Limited Rating - 2.9
