Apparently, a nice addition to the extended Tinker
decks, as Judge Bill explains below. While
it isn't as useful in limited, it's a decent
sideboard to foil some nasty activated ability
that you can't deal with. Still, in draft, that
would make it a late pick. Truly, it's value
is in the constructed arena.
The foil for all the
Tinker based decks. With this out, they can't
activate their Myr Incubators, Mindslavers,
Boshes, Goblin Welders, or any other artifact or
creature ability that isn't a mana ability. And
when you're ready, you can just Tinker this away
for the card you need to win the game.
In limited, it isn't
as useful, as you don't have as many abilities
to worry about. But if this is the only way you
have to deal with Spikey, use it.
