Hello Pojo Fans,

Loptr, Shadow of the Generaider Bosses needed to be made when Generaiders first came out.

The easiest way to summon a Generaider monster by far, a Lonefire for the archetype. The 1000 ATK/DEF boost it gives while on the field to Generaiders is handy, but would’ve been better during your turn rather than your opponent. Sure, it will protect small Generaider monsters better, but Level 9 monsters are meant to be attackers. As a Fairy it benefits from all of the Fairy support there is, however there aren’t any Fairy monsters within the Generaider archetype aside from Loptr. Loptr is meant to work alongside Boss Stage to get you two Generaider monsters to attack with then go into a Rank 9, not much else to say about it.

Next up for support week is a new piece to really help Generaiders when they don’t have the Field Spell: Loptr, Shadow of the Generaider Bosses.

Loptr is a Level 4 FIRE Fairy with 1500 ATK and DEF. Okayish stats on Level 4, FIRE and Fairy do make for a strange combination but I guess Fairy is nice with the new Level 9 Fairy. The first effect states you can only control 1 Loptr, basically matching the Level 9s in the archetype in that regard, and that’s fine. It boosts all your Generaider monsters by 1000 ATK and DEF on the opponent’s turn, which is great with the Tokens you summon off Boss Stage to make them a respectable 2500 ATK and DEF while also making your bosses more impressive. Lastly as a Quick Effect it can tribute a Generaider monster you control to summon a Level 9 Generaider with a different name from Deck. Great way to help get access to other Generaiders while also giving you more use for your Tokens, or sacrificing itself to get you to Mardel so you can search the Boss Stage or Boss Quest for more searching. Any archetype can appreciate a Lonefire Blossom, and this archetype really likes it on either turn to get to more bosses as fast as possible. This is the hard once per turn effect on Loptr, which is fair. It really boosts the Deck to another Level by spamming your boss monsters for their disruptive effects or a Rank 9. Loptr is a must for Generaiders.

Loph, Shadow of the Generaider Bosses is a great player in the theme   Fire/Fairy for some reason, Level 4, and 1500 attack and defense.  While none of that is overly impressive, I like this card.

You can only control 1 of these, and given it automatically boosts all your Theme Monsters attack and defense by 1000, that’s necessary.  This card alone becomes 2500/2500 which is great on a Level 4.  Keep in mind it’s on your opponent’s turn.

But if you get a boost, I’d rather have it on their turn than mine.  Tributing a Theme Monster (ideally a low level) gets you a Level 9 Theme Monster Special Summoned from your Deck.  And it’s a Quick Effect to boot.

Trading big for small is great, you still get that extra 1000 as long as you’d still control one of these.  Nice combo piece in this Theme, that supports, boosts, and Summons   Not much not to like.

Art:  While I like this, Fire/Fairy is odd, there’s little to no shadow or darkness in this picture, and she looks like a Warrior.  4/5 though
