Hello Pojo Fans,

Classic card on Throwback Thursday getting a rarity bump: Just Desserts.

Out of the first Starter Deck, this LP damage card has been a staple in burn decks throughout the years and still holds some playability today in those kinds of decks. Flip and do 500LP damage for each monster your opponent controls. Face-up, face-down, doesn’t matter, they take the damage. Max of 3000 damage nowadays, and you potentially could get that against Pendulum Decks. You likely will get something along the lines of 1500-2000 damage from this card, but that’s pretty good, that’s upwards of ¼ your opponents LP gone from one card. If you have doubles of this card on the field, boom, halfway there.

For burn decks and those cheeky to attempt LP shenanigans in an overtime situation.

Art-3/5- probably could’ve given us alternate art after all these years, but whatever.

We now look at a very simple burn trap that was very hard to find before I believe, Just Desserts.

Just Desserts is a Trap that just inflicts 500 damage to the opponent for each card they control. That is it really. Nothing special to talk about. The max you can do now with the new rules is 3500. You are more than likely getting 2000 off with this considering how fast this game is now-a-days. Very solid burn card, that is it.

Art: 2/5 Not the best art to look at if you ask me.

Some people see Just Desserts as the poor-man’s Ceasefire.  Similar enough, yet different, in their own regards.  Very simple Trap, 500 Damage is dealt to your opponent for each Monster they control.  As old as this card is, it’s not a terrible burn card, being completely honest.  I wouldn’t fault a hardcore Burn Deck throwing one or two of these in, doing 1000 or 1500 Damage for one card (and no cost, albeit a -1 for you) isn’t terrible, and it’s a card you could, potentially, use to finish a game.  I doubt you’d see this pop up anytime, but that doesn’t mean it’s not any good (in this case).
