I’m a bit confused about this card. I mean, on paper, sure, forcing the use of more than one guardian is a nifty ability to kill hand, but I thought Brave was already pretty competent at attacks forcing 15k out the opponent per swing. And if the opponent damage checks a trigger and you intend to poke the opponent to death, that’s you buggered since they only hit if you guard with exactly one thing. If you don’t defend at all and they have lower power, they don’t hit.

Late Game is when he’s most relevant. That’s when you want the big numbers. That, or the pokes, as the opponent will usually be on 4-5 damage, meaning a damage trigger is less likely to screw you over.

Don’t go into this unless you’re absolutely sure you can win with him that very turn, or you got sacked and your field totally sucks. You REALLY need to pay attention to your resources and dedicate it mostly to him that turn. Play with the intent to drop him or don’t play him for the whole game. Your pick.

What’s up, Rogue Squad?!  I’ll confess to something: out of the three members of TRY3, Shion was probably my favorite in terms of character development especially a couple of seasons ago when he got a spine, but I never cared to build his deck nor saw anyone play it themselves…I think that’s going to change for reasons like this card.  Fides is the Brave deck’s killshot card, and it really shows especially if they’re attacking with small chain attacks that normally need only a 5k shield to guard, but Fides forces an extra card out to guard with the threat of the attack still hitting if there’s only one Guardian on the field.  This is an exceptionally annoying card when you have to deal with this when you’re at five damage as this will slowly drain what’s left in your hand as every attack will be asking for at least be two cards from your hand per attack (I’m also including Perfect Guards as you normally have to discard for them anyway and end up losing two cards from hand anyway).  Couple that with the skill to call three more units on attack and exhaust your opponent’s resources, if not kill them that turn.  If you play Altmile, run him.  It’s that simple.
