So let’s finally review the card I was MEANT to cover last week if I hadn’t got the name wrong and look at Pentagonal Magus.

I get that she’s a Trial Deck card but honestly? I found myself a little underwhelmed. Much like Imperial Daughter, you ride her once, proc the skill, and after that all she’ll force the opponent to do is basically throw Perfect Guards in her face until you die. Something like CEO Amaterasu can carry the power gain far better because it’s both assured and you are up to your fucking armpits in scryers to make CEO stronger than Hexagonal ever could. Both Hex and CEO’s power-ups are good on VG and RG circle, so it’s pretty clear which one’s better.

You only run this because you didn’t jump on the CEO bandwagon fast enough. As it is she’s nice when you’re on a budget…except the Draw PGs didn’t get reprinted, so eat shit because you’re going to fork out one way or the other.
