"Checkmate" by Jonathan & Alexander Fundingsland.
(writing by J-Tone)

Brought together by an unorthodox cosmic gamesmaster, Heroes & Villains everywhere, throughout time & space, have been abducted to play the most strange, the most
unusual, & the most bizarre chess game in HISTORY!
It is suggested that no point value be used in this
scenario.
Setup: "Now, where do I put this horsey guy again?"
Setup is exactly the same as chess. First, set up a chessboard, then, choose figures with lesser point values, (30 points or less) for pawns. Next, choose figures with higher point values, (31 points or
higher) for all the other pieces. The male figure with the highest point value must be used as the king & the female with the highest point value must be used as
the queen.
SPECIAL RULES
1) "KING ME!...no, wait..."
All figures move according to normal chess rules, but attack according to normal Heroclix rules, with a few
exceptions: All ranged attack numbers are now at 2, the figures that represent the knight must attack & K.O. figures before moving, & both players get to move & attack on the same turn. Unlike normal chess, unless you K.O'd the opposing figure on the first try, you must wait until your next turn to attack again. Most
powers still work, except the following...
2) "YAHTZEE!!"
The following powers & abilities that do not apply
are: Running Shot, Charge, Earthbound, Leap/Climb, Plasticity, & Leadership. Also, rolling breakaway is unnecessary & Ranged Combat Expert attacks have a
distance of 4.
3) "OH...Now I get it."
The scenario ends after, (A), the opposing player's king is put into checkmate, (B), one player forfeits
the game, or (C), two hours has passed.
VICTORY
Players win through normal chess rules. No victory points are counted.
