Blessed by the Heavens: a scenario by Francescorook HeroClix Scenario Each player builds a 400 point team as per the standard rules. Place a token in front of the opposing army's starting area to represent a crate. This crate is assigned to the team that placed it. This is where we store and keep the goodies. This crate can only be opened by the team it's assigned to. The crate cannot be moved by anyone. To open the crate a character must make a close combat attack versus a defence of 10 for the crate inflicting a minimum of 2 clix of damage (It's a sturdy box). The items/effects within the crate will affect the person opening it and all within the range if any. To determine what was in the crate, roll a six sided die and apply the result to the following table 1 - Fire Elemental: The chest that was opened actually contains an ancient trap. By opening the box, the character triggered the release of a Fire Elemental. All characters within 3 squares of the crate are sprayed with blue flame and receive 3 clix of damage. This damage is not blocked by line of sight or figure bases. Powers that reduce or evade damage can be applied to this damage. 2 - Fists of Stone : The character finds stone gloves inside the crate. Once placed on the character's hands, the gloves becomes a living extension of the arm. The character now inflicts 4 clix of combat damage. This new damage rating only applies to close combat attacks. This damage cannot be augmented by any powers (i.e. perplex). 3 - The Quest : Upon opening the crate, the character is struck with insight and sees the battle and the world for what it is. He is focused, determined and driven like never before. This character is now considered to have willpower for the rest of his dial. 4 - Fountain of Youth : Water sprays from inside the box and spreads to all sides. The character that opens the box is instantly drenched in water and healed to his beginning click. Every other character within 3 squares is healed for two clicks (any team). 5 - Godspeed : The character that opened the box has been smiled upon by the gods and can now move unhindered across the board like a bolt of lightning as though he possessed the power of Hyper Sonic Speed. He retains this power until the end if his dial. 6 - Scream of Rage : The character has been given the ability to emit sonic rays by screaming. This gives any character a range of 10 and a damage of 4 clicks. This new damage rating only applies to ranged attacks. This damage cannot be augmented by any powers (i.e. perplex) or team abilities (i.e. SHIELD). The items are great praised possessions and cannot be traded from one character to the other. Once a player carrying an item is KO'ed the item simply vanishes. The game ends after 12 turns or when a player's team is totally KO'ed For questions or comments : patless@hotmail.com
