THIS WEEK:  ARMOR WARS.
THE COMPLETE LE’S
Section 2

Here is the second section of the LE’s from Armor Wars.  I personally think these quick reviews are a useful tool for all of you and myself.  If you feel the same way just email me at cramcompany@hotmail.com and put YES LE in the headline.  If I don’t get too many of these emails, I will assume nobody likes this section and will stop writing them.

66 Points for this LE of Aurora  She has the Avengers team.

I think Aurora is amazing, but her LE blows away the R/E/V.  Make no mistake, she is a one click character, but what an amazing first click.  The big difference here is the 3 damage, HSS characters never have anything above 2 damage.  If you use your cards right you have a Avenger Team that changes to a Batman team and a 3 damage that Incontacts up to a 4 damage.  That is a deadly force, a stealth character that can move and  shoot with a 6 range and 4 damage!  All that can be yours for the low, low price of points 81 (with cards)!  She is amazing, I wish I could play two.

OVERALL:  5 out of a Possible 5 Thumbs Up.

BETTER OF WORSE THEN THE REV?: MUCH Better.

58 Points for this LE of Captain America.  He has the NO team.

For 58 points he is pretty good.  Nice attack, nice defense, but horrible damage.  He needs to have a lot of help in that department.  Probably too much to actually be useful.  He is close to good, but there are far too many cheap characters out there that can do a lot more, with a lot less help.  The Rookie Echo is really close to John Walker and is only 25 points.

OVERALL:  3 out of a Possible 5 Thumbs Up.

BETTER OF WORSE THEN THE REV?: Worse

113 Points for this LE of Cannonball.  He has the X-men team.

The biggest novelty about him is he is a transporter.  In fact he is the only single based transporter in the game today.  He has to be compared to the 39 point veteran Lockjaw though and that is an unfortunate comparison for Cannonball.  His 10 attack will become an 8 attack then you use the transporters ability and he damage is nothing special.  He has a long dial, but so does Vet Lockjaw.  Unfortunately he is the worst transporter in the game, because he is so widely over-costed.  If you have one make sure to Ebay him before the novelty wears off.

However his R/E/V does suck bad enough to make him the best of the bunch.

OVERALL:  2 out of a Possible 5 Thumbs Up.

BETTER OF WORSE THEN THE REV?: Better

72 Points for this LE of Sunfire.  He has the Avengers team.

Really high defense.  Really Low Attack.  But man if you hit somebody with him…. Oh wait he has no damage.  He does get better and has a long dial, but he is so inconsistent, he’s not worth playing.  If you are “jonesing” to play a Sunfire, I suggest the much more consistent Veteran.

OVERALL:  2 out of a Possible 5 Thumbs Up.

BETTER OF WORSE THEN THE REV?: Worse

67 Points for this LE of Quicksilver.  He has the No team.

Your typical HSS character.  Average attack with average defense and no range.  I like the super senses and the leadership is fun, but he is not better then his counterparts.  Lockjaw is so much cheaper and does just about the same thing.  I would play him and save the points.

And yes I know I compare every character to Lockjaw, but Lockjaw is usually the best.

OVERALL:  2.5 out of a Possible 5 Thumbs Up.

BETTER OF WORSE THEN THE REV?: Worse
