| Rurouni KJS | The 2011 Origins convention is done. Attendants
who played HeroClix there got first shot at a set of
exclusive Limited Edition figures. They're supposed
to become more widely available later in the year,
but some of you want them NOW!
Across the next couple of weeks, Clix Of The Day
							reviews these five pieces.

 DIAL & CARD:
 http://heroclix.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/Famine-x-2033.jpg

 STRENGTHS:
She's a transporter with 18 DV and Invulnerability
and she's good against Willpower with her "Third
Horseman" trait that saps the DV of enemies with two
tokens. She has damage reduction all dial long and
Exploit Weakness on both ends. Pushing to her 2nd
click buys Incapacitate (an answer to her low
damage) and her SP "Starve," which enables her to
give adjacent foes action tokens if she's got none
herself — no attack roll needed!

 WEAKNESSES:
"Starve" requires her to base the enemy — negating
her Move And Attack ability — and forces her to
choose between it, Incap, and EW. It's nice to have
options, but this is overkill. Her best power combos
require her to push and thus sacrifice her best
							stats — especially her damage.

 CARDS OR COMPANIONS TO CONSIDER:
Fielding the YELLOW LANTERN will mitigate that
problem somewhat. Run her with fellow Horsemen of
Apocalypse and use their ATA. A passenger with
							Poison works.

 IN SUM:
Famine is all about LOCKDOWN. She's not a piece to
headline a team, but one you  instead build
solid attackers around to take advantage of her
ability to slow and weaken the enemy. At a third of
the standard 300-point build, though, it's hard to
score her higher than 2.5 of 5. Add .5 for higher
builds, where she'll have the support to do her
thing. She's going to be the easiest of these
							convention exclusives to snag.
