Today's review is The Flash from Justice League
Wally West is back and better than ever. People are
complaining that we don’t have Barry Allen yet…but I am a
Wally fan. Maybe next set we will get Barry in some form.
He is a Unique(uncommon), 114 points, 0 range, 7 clicks of
life, and JLA team
Speed – Vibration – Flash can use HSS and Phasing/Teleport
Speed: What more can I say…fantastic. Phasing could come in handy along
with the HSS
Attack: That extra click of 10 attack is rare on
pieces like this…so that is good
Defense: Wow…it stays around an 18 the whole time…an
18…and he has super senses
Damage: I still say Flash should always have at
least 1 click of Outwit…but the standard barren 2’s is all
we get
The Good: HSS full dial
Vibration can be good
Huge defense
Attack is better than
average
The Bad:
2 damage
JLA team seems wasted points
Feats: Armor Piercing, Nanobots, Protected…shall I
go on?
Overall: Well…it’s been forever since we have seen a
14 movement…much less with HSS. Luckily, we aren’t wasting
points slapping quake on the dial…because if the Icons
Unique taught us anything quake will never…ever…be used.
The full dial HSS with amazing defense makes for a hell of a
piece. 19 is always tough to hit…but a 19 with Super
Senses? Put a probability controller or two on your team
and he will never be hit. The JLA team is wasted on him,
and the 2 damage is a shame…but still…he is nuts. They
basically made Icons Flash go from a good piece to a great
piece.
