Today's review is Lobo from Justice League

 

The main man comes to us today in Clix form.  People have been clamoring for him for a long time, and we finally get our prize.  Man…I hope he is good.

 

He is a Unique (Super-Rare), 207 points,  6 range 1 target, 10 clicks of life, a flying transporter, no team

Special Power – Speed – Nobody rides this hog but the main man – Lobo can’t carry characters

Attack – Bounty Hunter – Before the beginning of the first turn of the game, choose an opposing character.  Lobo modifys his attack by +2 when attacking character.  When that character is KO’d, choose a different character.

 

Speed:   The special power doesn’t really seem necessary, but it does make him accurate.  Flurry is never bad.  Earthbound?

Attack:   Not bad, and with the special power your looking at 10’s/11’s against the main opponent character.  Psy blast is always good, but with a 6 range that is limiting.  BCF I guess could help, but wouldn’t you be trying to heal at this point?

Defense:  Half dial of damage reduction always helps.  Regeneration can help, man I miss the Auto Regen card.


Damage:  Not even a single 4?  CCE and Exploit Weakness can help.

 
The Good:  High attack values

      Can stay in the game a long time

      High starting defense

      Transporter

      Cool Sculpt

     

The Bad:  Low damage

                Defense gets real low when you have no reducers

                Doesn’t take advantage of range

                Earthbound

                Flurry and BCF when you will probably be healing


Feats:  Protected and Nanobots, because you can heal with it for half your dial.  Until we get Auto-regen back…noone will be regening over nanobots


Overall:  This is a piece that I am not happy with at all.  The killer…absolute killer for me is the face he is only sporting a high of 3 base damage.  Lockjaw is a transporter with 3 damage…but he is 160 points less.  You will be tied up all the time probably, since you don’t have a power to break away with, so the damage powers will help in that department.  His attack will always be high during transporter attacks, but his movement and range are so low you won’t be able to run away from a counter attack.  Earthbound really hurts too…immensely.  Why are we limiting him even more than we are already?  And where is my Impervious?  Clicks like this make me angry.  I know making a click like Lobo transfer into clix is probably a tough job…but he needs to be better than this.
