Another fan request today, KC Flash

 

If you don’t know who he is…THEN YOU DO NOT PLAY HEROCLIX!!!!!

 

He is a Unique, 150 points, 0 range, 8 clicks of life, a flier, no AE, and KC team

Speed:  Second best movement in the game next to Jay Garrick Flash

Attack:  Awesome for the points, he is pretty much always dangerous, quake is wasted points

Defense:  You know that Sue Storm LE, the one where the 19 defense annoys the hell out of you, add one to that…that’s right, since the average attack in the game is a 9, you need an 11 to hit.  If he does actually take enough damage to be on his last 2 clicks, he has super senses to help him avoid attacks.

Damage:  Nothing is ever perfect, a click of outwit helps, great for nanobots though

The Good:  15 move, full dial HSS

      Ridiculous defense

      Opening Outwit

      KC team can keep him from being based

      Do I need to go on?

The Bad:   Against damage reducers, it is going to take a while to hit

    Not much bad with him, attack drops pretty fast


Feats:   I could list them, but look at all the last winners of any Wizard World championship.  You will see at least 4 out of 8 KC flash teams, and you can take it from there.  For the casual player, nanobots and armor piercing is all you really need


Overall:    He has dominated the tournaments the last few years (especially since the ranged HSS nerf).  He can move, hit, run, and not get hit.  To use him, have a ton of feats and a prob controller.  To beat him, have a high attack and hope for the best.  Also, destroy objects so he can’t heal.  Outwit always helps, but he always has fortitude slapped on him, so good luck with that.  Also, after the retirement, I cannot wait to see the new tournament.  I am SICK of seeing him pop up everywhere at the big tournaments.  Good riddance I say.   Not only that, the ultimate annoyance Lockjaw will be gone too.  You tend to not see one without the other anymore.  I guess that is the price of being an amazing heroclix, you get abused then people hate you, but you are kind of a necessary evil.  I still love the KC storyline though.

Sealed/Draft:  4 / 5 (damage reducers are a problem here)

In my last review I said Steel is next. I guess Flash is so fast his name dashed right by me. But this isn't any regular Flash; it's KC FLASH! One of the most abused pieces in tournaments over the last few years. Still playable? We'll see.
 
He is 150 points; Kingdom Come Team; Flies; 0 Range; 1 Bolt

 Speed  -- 15 WITH HYPERSONIC SPEED?! ON TWO CLICKS? Wow this couldn't be any better and all the way down the dial, too; incredible.
 
 Attack  -- I'd enjoy it if there wasn't a consectutive number drop. 12 is awesome but just like that you see a 9 in the slot. Mid-life Quake comes at the perfect time.
 
 Defense  -- Who cares if there's a consectutive number drop here; its 20 defense! I prefer the Super Senses up front but at least he has some backup when your opponent's about to cash 150 points.
 
 Damage  -- Outwit got to love it.
 
 Sculpt  -- He looks like a robot. What's with the wings on that viking hat?

Strategy
Stay out of the heavy hitter's range. The key is to remain at full health because with one click and a not-so intimidiating 19 pops up and Outwit pops out.
 
~ Flash should be your main component. ICWO is a must to make that 20 a nearly impossible 21. 2's till death = nonstop Nanobots. Anyone ever notice I never mention Protected? That's another my bad. Pretty much there's no weakness in him other than four KO clicks. Use him while you can! ~
 
I rate Flash with a 4.5/5.
