Dario Executioner

This time we take a break from Collateral Damage figures and review an Armor

Wars dude: Executioner. I have absolutely no idea who he is, but when I saw
him I thought of Persuader… and same happened when I looked at his dial.
From the R/E/V I’ll be doing the Vet. All of them seem kind of decent (maybe

the rookie, the only one with a TA (Master of Evil… what a useless TA) isn’t

too good for 56 points.) Between the Exp. and the Vet. The choice wasn’t
easy, because for 72 points is good… so I just decided to go for the Vet.,
as I usually do when I don’t know what to do :P The Vet. Executioner costs
89 points, has 9 clicks of health, no range, no TA, and:

Stats:

Speed: 8, 8, 8, 7, 7, 6, 6, 6, 6. Has Phasing/Teleport for the last 3
clicks.

Attack: 11, 10, 10, 9, 9, 9, 8, 8, 7. Begins with 2 clicks of B/C/F, then
follows Super Strength till the 8th click.

Defense: 17, 17, 16, 16, 17, 16, 15, 15, 14. Starts with 4 clicks of
Invulnerability, then come 3 clicks of Toughness and finishes with 2 of
Willpower.

Damage: 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 2, 2. Has CCE from the 3rd till the 5th click.

Analysis: Ok, no range and no move and attack is a huge downside, as with
all figures, and he lacks a TA… but, for those who like Persuader (in any of

his incarnations), to have a brick in the team, here’s a better guy! His
attack is very nice and consistent, dropping steadily; so he’ll hit more
than not, and when he does he has potential to do some damage: he starts
with 2 for the first 2 clicks, but he has B/C/F for a higher damage, after
those 2 clicks he gets 3 of 2 damage with CCE, so he hits for 4 (nice
enough, I’d say) and then, when he loses CCE, he gets a couple of 3… his
defense is great! nice numbers with lots of damage reduction will make his
already long dial seem a LOT for 89 points, plus in the end he has a
Support-friendly defense, Willpower and Phasing, all that makes it very easy

for him to run and get some healing.

Conclusion: You probably want to put ICWO on him, so he hits for more
damage, but ther than that, if you have a TKer or a Transporter on your team

(which you should), you can use him as your trustworthy brick. He’ll be
great for tying up big guns while you attack from range with others!

Ranking:

100 – 1/5 Nope.
200 – 1.5/5 Not quite
300 – 2/5 Still takes too much space
400 – 3.5/5 Great brick here!
500 – 3.25/5 See above
