Today we'll be reviewing Spider-man from Armor Wars

Spider-man is…a character that everyone knows.

Unique:  72 points, No Team

MOVEMENT:  Flurry and three damage is always a good thing.  Plasticity at the end to help break away and/or make a Spider-man a very good tie-up piece.

ATTACK:  High attack.

DEFENSE:  I hate combat reflexes

DAMAGE:  A close combat Spider-man?

SCULPT:  One of the best in the set.

OVERALL: 

·  A longer range!

·  One less target then the standard two targets and 4 range.

·  The longer range ironically balanced with the many close combat powers is weird, but gives your opponent a hard decision when attacking him.

·  High defense the entire dial.

·  No team

·  Very respectable attack

·  In contact with Oracle will be a must, to get that higher damage value.

·  Pounce is designed for this version of Spider-man, but with the push click he will be next to his enemy with Flurry all ready to go.

Finally a good unique for this set!  Spider-man says, taxi him up to the enemies and chance that they’ll miss hitting him.  Even if he takes a lump, he’ll still be able to do some damage.  The defense spike in the middle is great.  He begs to be pushed to his flurry clicks, but I would do the pushing by attacking, instead of treating him like a push click character.  I wish he had the wildcard team, because then he’d be a 5.  Yet he is still under costed for what he can do.  Say hello to your most friendly, friendly neighborhood Spider-man!
