DC Cosmic Justice
This figure was highly sought after at my old gaming store.
There wasnít much this figure was missing in the way of stats. She also made
an excellent addition to most teams looking for a stealthy field manager.
She did not offer the willpower or brute strength of the Batman figures, but
she makes a great alternative at a cheaper point cost.
Speed / Range: Batgirl offers excellent speed for a figure
of her point cost. The addition of leap/climb combined with the attack
range of six spaces puts her head and shoulders above other 40 point figures
that she is commonly compared to.
Attack: This is the only weak area on Batgirls dial. She
has the field controlling powers of incapacitate and smoke cloud, but her
actual attack values are somewhat low for a 40 point figure. Add in a team
member with some perplex and Batgirl will be just fine!
Defense: The 16 defense combined with the Batman team
ability means this figure will be a nuisance for your opponents. There are
no fancy abilities in this area, just decent base stats, which is exactly
what a member of the bat team deserves! Keep this figure away from anyone
holding the Superman or Ultimates team ability and sheíll be fine!
Damage: A solid base two damage! This is always a great
site when itís on a cheap figure. She can deal damage to just about
everyone on the board. Once again, when teamed up with a single perplexer,
this figure can put a serious hurt on opposing figures. The last two clicks
are my favorite Ė as they offer outwit. Iíve found myself pushing this
figure very often when I played her, just to get to the outwit ability and
her smoke cloud.
Overall: Excellent low cost figure with plenty of extras to
keep her going! She slows down big figures with her incapacitate and she
knocks them flat with her base two damage. After all the fighting is done,
she has the team ability and the speed to get outta town fast and
unopposed. This is a great unique to add to your collection and she makes
an equally strong figure on the playing field as well!
