Supreme Headquarters, I-something, E-something, L-something, D-something. S.H.I.E.L.D. is the Marvel Universe's version of the CIA and NSA rolled into one. A government organization that operates world wide, and it's under the command of Nick Fury, a World War II hero who is one of the few Marvel characters that actually ages (somewhat). Fury's had his own comic series a bunch of times, but they don't sell really well, so they keep getting cancelled. He has shown up in just about every other Marvel title at one time or another, and is basically one of those ubiquitous secondary characters.

The second-most popular Unique out of the Clobberin' Time set, Fury is a steal at 62 points. Stealth, Leadership, Outwit, Master-Mind AND Running Shot with
TWO Range 6 attacks. NASTY. Use him with a bunch of S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives and you've got your own minature army. What's even better if you can get the S.H.I.E.L.D. LE's.

A Unique with collectability value! What a concept. I have to admit though, the sculpt looks a little like the S.H.I.E.L.D. Sniper figure (at least that's what the website photo looks like...I haven't pulled one yet). A quick scanning of the recent auctions has Nick selling for under Twenty Bucks! I guess he's not as collectable as I thought.

My Ratings:
Playability 3.5 of 5
Collectability 3.5 of 5
Ed Po This guy is ok. He has stealth his first two clix which is good on any
piece. He gains running shot after he loses stealth, but that won't help him
much with an attack of 8. His attack drops a bit fast, after a few clix it
goes down to 8. He gains mastermind a few clix down which is good because of
his low defense. He has two good damage super power/abilities, leadership
and outwit. His damage stays at a good 2 until his last click, but that
doesn't matter because you can't do much with most figures on their last
clix.

He's a unique, so that means he's a level 6 rarity. You can buy Nick Fury on
Ebay for $16(plus shipping and handling). Inquest magazine has this guy at
$20 and increasing.

He has the average sculpt. Nothing really special, but he has some cool
stuff. He's pointing two guns to the side with a cigarette.
