 | Clayface III
Not the latest in the line of Clayfaces, but definitely the most deadly.
Preston Payne (don’t you love the alliterative names in comic books?)
suffered from “hyperpituitarism” and in order to cure himself he injected
blood from the previous Clayface Matt Hagen. Payne’s transformation into
Clayface was quick and painful apparently, driving him insane. He also has
to wear an exo-skeleton in order to not ooze away. YUCK!

 Cost: 84. Health: 7. Team: Anti-Batman
SSADD: 10/10/15/2. Powers: Plasticity, Poison, Toughness.

Hmmm….pricey at 84 points, but I like the 3 clicks of poison late in the
dial, and plasticity is always nice, but I don’t see myself playing him.
He’s just too expensive for what you get.

Being a level 5 rare, Clayface III might set you back a couple dollars. Nice
sculpt too, if you can get one with a decent paint op.

 My Ratings:
 Playability 3 of 5
 Collectability 2 of 5.

 | For fifty points you get Plasticity,
Toughness, and Poison. I say bring it on! Clayface doesn't have Plasticity
when he has Poison, but maybe that's a good thing, considering how horrific
a combo like would be. Overall, Clayface is an incredibly good tie up piece.
The attack of ten and a movement of ten is good, the defense of fifteen
sucks, and the two damage is fair. But since he isn't supposed to be
attacking, just sitting there, that's fine by me.
 100:1/5 He's a little too large here
200:2/5 still a little too much
 300:3/5 that's better
400+:4/5 this is where he's supposed to be used!

    | Steelwasp | Today's
COTD is Clayface 3(or III). Points: 50
 TA: Batman Enemy
 Range/attacks: 0
 Clix of Life: 6
Speed:10 with Plasticity for first 3
Attack: 10 with Poison for last 3
Defense: 15 with toughness for first 3
 Damage: 2

I really like this guy as a tieup piece. He isn't going to win you the game
but he'll get in the way of your opponent's figures and make it hard for
them to break away due to Plasticity. After they attack him, they'll take
some poison damage. His stats aren't that bad for only 50 pts. He's great at
harassing other support ifgures, such as medics. The toughness will ensure
that he sticks around a little longer. Just beware of outwit because it will
	ruin your day.

		Clayface III:Boy, don'tcha just
love that name?  Sounds like the Duke of Mafia or something.  Clayface
is ALMOST good.  He has Plasticity and Poison, but not together.  If he
had Poison on his first three clicks, he would have those two together,
plus toughness and Shapechange to keep him safe.  Base a figure, poison
the crap outta them since Plasticity makes it darn near imposible to
break away, and if they attack you, they have to get by two defensive
powers!  But sadly, he isn't like that, so he sucks.  Like a vaccum
		cleaner. 100:  He's drawing me in!  1/5 200:  I can't stop him!  1/5 300:  HEEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPP!!!!!  1/5 Sealed Box:  Vooooooooooommmmmmmm!!!!!  1/5 The Bottom Line:  Let's see, 1+1+1+1=4, 4 divided by 4
is, 1/5!  Hey, we all knew Ironman was smart, right, but THIS!? |
