Sometimes, you'll want to play a deck that needs a certain location so much, that just putting four of them into your deck isn't good enough. In that case, you'll need to add search cards to improve your deck's consistency in getting that location into play on a timely basis. This particular one is useful if you're in a real hurry. If you're willing to wait a little longer, Alohomora or Gringott's Vault Key have the advantage of greater flexibility. If the location I'm looking for requires five or more lessons, I almost always opt for the Key over this. Floo Powder will often get the nod when used in conjunction with a cheaper location.

Two words. Alohomora. Gives you the option for an adventure, too. Also, I don't see a lot of decks that really need the location...if you really need it, you'll have 4 of them, so you should be ok. Also, not a lot of decks that use Transfiguration would run locations, other than Forbidden Corridor. So, Alohomora is MUCH better, since you can grab Wand Shop, or an adventure. =)

I prefur Alohomora better because if you just wait a bit and built up some lessons, you'll have the same effect, or the choice to get a great adventure instead. A broader searching card is usually better than a specific search card, like Gringott's Vault Key is pretty much the best search card since it's range is so broad, it can get everything, literally (but one at a time). :P

Snuffles

Fairly specific, but its a searching card for Trans. These are in short supply unless you are looking for creatures. I much prefer Charms for searching as they have Alohomora and Vault Key. But if you're not playing charms and you want that location bad enough, this is a good way to get it. I don't play with searching cards too often because i always end up thinking... Well.... I can draw this card... or another card i want to play that i don't have to spend an action getting. But they can be effective, just don't rely on them too much.
