Messiah’s new win-sealing unit. Obviously its main drawback is that it’s slow as hell: only good as a third Stride earliest since no Messiah G Guardians exist to get the most out of it. But if you want to use it any earlier than that, it’ll flip an Amnesty or Flageolet to proc more skills later on and lets you +1 and Soulcharge.

Let’s talk about the hand reset in more detail. This is not optional, so you’re basically using it as either an alternative Basaltis or as the game-ender. Ruining the opponent’s hand will basically ensure that at best, they’ll have to -2 to PG this and hope they can spare the remaining 2 rear-guards to block the rest, and that’s tough given Messiahs are good at the multi-attack game.

It also ruins your hand as well, more often than not minusing, because Alter Ego Neo rolls with a big hand in general, so it’s a ‘fuck you, I win’ card, because you might sturggle to survive the next turn depending on hand. Good at 2 at most so that you have one early and one as the killer.

What’s up, Rogue Squad?!  Since we looked at two of the GRs of the set, let’s wrap up the trinity with Integral Messiah. Its on attack skill is pretty standard as you unlock everything on your field to continue the Messiah deck’s multi attack combos that they are known for, and the extra draw, 10k and Soulcharge is a solid touch for a first Stride.  However, the first skill is what makes this card annoying to deal with if you’re on the receiving side of this.  When you Stride into this, should you have 3 or more Messiahs faceup in your G Deck, then a pseudo Morphing Jar effect happens where both players reshuffle their entire hand and draws a new hand of five.  This means that if you’re the Messiah player, Stride into this when you have 5 or less cards in hand, use either Ideal or Alter Ego Neo’s skills to place a card Fromm your hand to the RG and then trigger Integral’s skill to force the reshuffle and draw.  Furthermore, if you’re facing an opponent that can gain a giant hand advantage (ie Blasters, Overlord, Luard, etc.), then it’ll force their hand of 10+ to cut in half or even lower.  It’s really ironic on how this card can be good as both a first Stride and a kill-turn stride depending on the situation.  The real drawback is the specification of Messiahs as they don’t have a Messiah G Guardian (yet), but once they do, the fact that the first skill can be a potential second stride can make this incredibly deadly to deal with.
