Bright Jewel:
We wrap up the week with on of the game's larger stones. Bright Jewel plays a ton of events and abilities, and gives your leader a nifty static pump. Again, really not much to complain about. I feel that its ability is better than that of Scar's Revenge because it will be around awhile, and even when you don't have any more stone events in the deck it will still be useful.

In Sacrifice limited, you pick this card. Period. End of story. It pumps your leader and plays otherwise impossible to use stone events.
Just hope you get a chase and win some games.

The last card of the week is Bright Jewel. This is one of two 4 cost stones. This stone has a fairly simple effect, it gives your leader +1 to each attribute which is a nice bonus in addition to having 4 stone points to use stone events with. Once again I'm not too big on stones as it's hard to find that balance of stones and stone events to your deck especially when they can be dead cards if 1) you don't get enough clue points to play your stone, 2) you don't pull any stone events or 3) you pull too many stone events and can only play a limited number since the stone "breaks" after you spend points on it. I think there needs to be another set of stone support before it can really become viable for me. As far as right now goes, Bright Jewel is a decent stone to use. I personally like Scar's Revenge to pull out the stone event you need, but still not a bad stone to use.

Constructed: 3/5-Decent stone with a simple effect.
Sealed:2/5-A little less useful considering by 4 clue points you're already in control of the game, but 2 Unrivaled strengths can easily win that last location for you.

lonedothacker Bright Jewel 4 Stone
Your leaders gets +1 to each attribute.

The end of stone week brings us one of the two most expensive stones, to me the better. Its a permanent way to get a stat boost on your leader, which can help out in stat ties or playing events without having to Equivalent Exchange. Theres not a whole lot to be said beyond that it gives you many options for playing your stone events or abilities. Its possible to get it at level 1 if you use the Dante or HHH and when an early 2 point location(easier with HHH and Alchemy)

Again very little to say on this one but yeah.

Constructed: 3.5/5 Great but can be hard to get out
Sealed: 3/5 Useful if you get it into play.

Here to close out Stone week is an uncommon from Sacrifice titled "Bright Jewel". Let's take a look.

4 Point Stone Card

Your leader gets +1 to each attribute.

This one is kind of catch 22... You need four victory points to play this card... Then again, you get 4 stone points while it's in play... It only helps out your leader... But then again... It gives a boost to each attribute... In constructed, you might already have a beat stick deck giving you points each turn or making it hard for your opponent to get any... Then again, in limited, you're struggling with your drops to get your four points to play this card.

Hmmm...

Let's take a look at the numbers for this one...

Constructed: 4/5. Hopefully you get this card in the mid to late game where you're already winning points and then would have enough to actually play this card. It gives you four points, so use them carefully...

Limited: 3/5... Ok the game goes best of 7, ok you may have a chance to pull out 4 points in turn 3... But what if you can get your combination off becaue this card was in the way...

And that ends Stone Card week this week... Go out and draw them circles ladies and gentleman..

Bright Jewel

*Here's one of the bigguns, a 4-point stone card. This bad boy will allow you to play the monstrous 3-cost stone events like Great Potential or City Consumed while still keeping the stone card itself out there.
In this case, that means that your leader has +1 to each attribute. If you plan on using Purify the Stone a lot, then this may be a good choice for that reason. Otherwise I'd stick with Scar's Revenge or maybe Philosopher's Stone if you want to play the 3-cost events. The ability to search for the event you want to use could be critical. Got that 11-cost Marcoh in your hand and he's itchin' to get out there? Search for A City Consumed and DO IT TO IT.

Constructed 3/5: Not as good as other stones unless you're purifying it all the time Sealed 4/5: Could be a nice permanent booster for your leader mid-game, and allows you to play any stone events you were lucky enough to pull.
