Darktaro

The last card we are looking at this week is Altering the Records. It's a Search Wits 7 and can only be played by a Shadow character and it changes everyone to their printed attributes. This card was a lot better when it first came out and was called Exhaustion. This is a very odd card in that it really does the most damage against Shadow decks but yet can only be played by Shadow characters. Most Shadow decks will also run Hakuro, Dark Ambition and Onslaught, so Shadow decks probably won't even bother with this card. Being a very limited card in terms of who can even play and even more limited in the deck type that can play it, unfortunately this is not a very useful card in my opinion. Stick with Exhaustion.

Constructed: 1.5/5-Too limited and specific a card and will more often than not be a dead card.
Sealed: 1/5-Almost no reason to pack it in sealed.

retched

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Friday's FMA Card of the Day. Today we look at the Wits Event, Altering The Records from Seven Deadly Sins.

And here we go:

7 Cost - Wits Event

Altering the Records can only be played by a shadow character.

Search Wits 7 Set: Change all characters' attributes to their printed attributes.

Is your opponent getting to happy with any attachment/bonus granting abilities? Do you need something to make Gluttony lose that 10 Alchemy he miraculosy attained? Do you have a Shadow Character? If you do this is the card for you...

The only downfall is the high cost in order to activate this. That and the fact that you need a Shadow Character with a 7 Wits stat. Of all the cards printed, there are at least 10 versions of Pride (some are L3 or L4 leaders) and a few other characters (mostly villains) who are able to play this card.

Then again this a seven cost event, so you're going to have to drop a lot of cards for EE or have a lot of attachments already. The other downfall is that this will also reset YOUR characters too. It's not too bad if you have other pumps in your hand... But otherwise this is going to suck heavily.

To the numbers:

Constructed: 1/5. My first one rating... YAY!! Again, this resets YOUR attributes as well... There are other cards that let you get a similiar ability or effect and a LOT cheaper.

Sealed: 1/5. If only we could give negatives... If this card is in your first, second, third, fourth pack... Pass, pass, pass, PASS!!! This card can only hurt you but so much in draft format. Sealed deck is not to bad, you MIGHT get a Shadow character.

And that's it for Wits Event, stay tuned for Alchemy Events next week. See ya soon!
