Darktaro

Today's we're looking at Roy Mustang, Playing the Game. Now normally I have a thing against any ally that you can't recruit at level 2. Usually you'll want to have at least 2 copies of any given ally in the hopes that you draw into it, and having 2 copies of something you can't drop until level 3 more often than not clogs your hand. However Shadows fortunately does have 2 things to help control when you get Roy out. Pride, Fuhrer King Bradley lowers the cost of Solider allies by 2 once you have 3 Shadow allies in play, which shouldn't be too hard to accomplish by level 2.

The other way to help get Roy out is Lust, Unseen Hand. An ideal drop would be drop Lust as you get your 3rd experience at level two, augment and search out Roy so you can drop him when you level up. The other great thing is this way you only really need one copy of Roy in your deck as you can search him out. The ally speaks for itself, 5/7/7 attributes and can cancel anything targeting your Shadow characters. Just remember if you run Spooky Shadows it will turn off that ability in the search phase.

Constructed: 4/5-Many ways to make sure he actually sees play in your Shadow deck.
