MILLER

Banding Together's picture is from an opening sequence from the Japanese running of the anime. However, it is clearly just a representation of the bond between the heroes of the show and their willingness to fight together.

The applications of Banding Together are pretty straightforward and easy to see. If your deck uses heroes and your leader has 5 strength at level 2, you should use this card. Heck, if your leader doesn't have 5 strength but you use a majority of characters that do have 5 strength, that works as well. The point is, this is a supplement card for hero decks. They aren't quite competitive yet, but I'm fairly certain, with the close of the anime episodes coming in the Sacrifice set, heroes will see a boost, as they are, ultimately, the victors.

In constructed, this card will see play. Your leader is Ed, you use this card, your leader is Maes, you use this card, your leader is Alphonse, well, you get the point. In sealed, however, this card is not as useful, as getting enough heroes is not easy.

Sealed: 2.5/5 Hmm, not too good.
Constructed: 5/5 You use heroes, you use this card.

Welcome to the end of Lionhart week as we reveiw Banding Together. It's a nice card, especially going against something you are lacking in. Playing against Homonculus? +3 wits if you have three heros. ect ect. It's a nice effect +x to x attribute. If you love playing heros, then here's your card. Villians can't play this card! w00t! >:D Would have been nice if it was a react, instead of a Battle Strength, but it's still okay. You can do alot of countering with this card, especially if run in multiples.

Banding Together gets a 4 out of 5.

5 Strength Cost

A cheaper Out the Window for heroes. I don't get why they make this now, when we have quick. I'm probably giving this a lower rating than I should, but I hate boring cards.

Rating: 2/5 (Boring =/ , Battle Pump)

Banding Together represents all the forces of good teaming up to help one another out. This is reflected in its effect which is a pump that gets stronger with each hero character you have in play. Of course this card will only see play in a Hero deck, but it is probably one of the better pumps to come along in awhile. It can easily get to the maximum bonus of +3, if your leader is a hero and you start with 1 or 2 heroes allies, it is possible to get the full bonus from turn one. Usually you can only get such a high pump from higher cost cards such as Out the Window or cards which require you to give up more resources such as Frenzy. It also being a noble event makes it searchable with Rush Valley Streets.

If there is one downside to the card is that the 5 strength cost can be a bit hard to get if you’re running it in an Elric deck, however since it targets a character you only need one person with 5 strength to play it and you can target any character. However all in all, it is an awesome pump to go alongside Frenzy and A Hero’s Passing.

Pros:
-Easy to get the maximum bonus of +3 in a Hero deck
-You can apply the pump to any attribute
-Noble keyword

Cons:
-5 Strength can be a bit hard to come by in some Elric decks

Sealed:2/5-Unless you can get a Hero military leader, it can be hard to get 3 Heroes down for the full effect.
Constructed:5/5-Great pump to go with A Hero’s Passing and Frenzy
