Main wits Sacrifice Policeman: Gain 1 experience.

Definitely a favorite starting card for many players.
With only 2 cost and with no faction, any leader can start this ally without taking up too much room.

Sacrificing Policeman allows you to gain an extra experience on the first turn. Since you get one during the power up phase, you can get that 2nd one that you need to level up next turn during the main phase. Being able to rush to your level 2 leader can make a difference since it’s more likely that your level 2 leader has higher stats and possibly a better effect. Policeman also isn’t limited to this. Though it’s not commonly used later in the game, gaining experience during later levels can also help to rush to next level for your leader. Cards that use up experience like, A Clue for the Search and Absorption, can also benefit from that extra experience that you gain from Policeman.

Some drawbacks…? Well, you essentially use up 2 of your command early on in the game. Instead of using that 2 command, you can have a different starting ally or even start up a bigger ally in the beginning. With this stronger ally and your recruit, you can almost guarantee that you’ll get the first location because your opponent will definitely have 1 less ally on the field. One huge problem with this card is that, if you’re not going first, your opponent can By the Order of the Fuhrer or Challenge the Sun Policeman. Also, you opponent can simply pressure the Policeman, basically making you waste that 2 cost.

Policeman can definitely be a good card, but if your opponent cancels or defeats your Policeman… you may be suffering from that wasted 2 command later on in the game.

Rating: 4/5
Still a great card, but if canceled or stopped, it can hurt your deck. You can also start something else...
maybe Lyra, Budding Talent??

Policeman, Citizen Of Linter

This card is one of the best starters in the game. If you facing Lust, you can easily reach Lv2 on turn 2, which is very good. A pressure against this card would really hurt though because you will have less allies than your opponent. The only deck this card won't be seen in is Dante (new) and Scar. This card is just too good to be true.

The Frost Alchemist

Policeman, Citizen of Linter

2 Cost--Non-Faction
Human
1 Strength--1 Wits--0 Alchemy
"Main Wits Sacrifice Policeman: Gain 1 experience."

Stat Wise: This ally has some of the lowest stats in the game for a cost 2 character.

Effect Wise: This ally has one of the BEST effects in the game for a 2 cost ally. Start the game with him and you'll be Level 2 on turn 2. And, if you have some extra copies, stick 2 more in your deck to help you get to Level 3 and 4 faster.

The Downside: Well, you have to sacrifice him. In addition to that, if you're playing against a Lust deck, Lust has a Level 1 leader that can cancel Policeman for free. Plus, he has low stats for a cost 2 ally. So, if you don't use his effect, he's not really going to do you much good for anything else.

Final Word: Even with these downsides, he's still a great card. I think the pros definately outweigh the cons. His low stats balance him out for a great effect. You can also start the game with him, and with any deck since he's non-faction.

I give Policeman, Citizen of Linter a 5 out of 5.
