Father Cornello, Third-Rate Charlatan
8 Command Level 2
Human * Villian
5/3/4
Main Alchemy 6: Put an ally into play from your hand.
Return to you hand a character with equal or greater cost.

So here we have a level 2 Father Cornello.

8 command is good since it gives you more options when recruiting. Stats are decent, but the alchemy is a little on the low side. You have to give up 2 cards for equivalent exchange to play this cards effect, but this can easily be solved by attaching an Alchemist's Gloves or Lyra's Pendant to Father Cornello.

Definitely a good effect especially when you have some characters that set to use an effect. You can set them and then use Father Cornello's effect to replace them with someone ready so they can enter the search party. Also, you can simply use his effect just to switch around allies with ones in your hand to best fit the location.

Downsides? Not too many, the stats are decent for an
8 command level 2. The effect might not always be useful so it can end up being a useless effect.

Rating: 3.5/5
A great effect that promotes good field management and is probably the best level 2 Father Cornello to use.

Low stats, and a below-average effect. So you put an ally in play, put an ally back in your hand that is probably better because it has to have a higher cost. Maybe there is someone in your hand you want to play really bad, but you can already have played it during the recruit phase. Father Cornello was just a test card, but it is getting no love from me.
