Blood and Water
Event Alchemy 0
Main Alchemy (1): Draw three cards

Here's a card I like. It allows hand advantage at a minimal cost.

Blood and Water allows you to draw 3 cards. That's useful but of course there's a cost of one experience. So theirs many uses for it. You can ditch the useless experience at lv. 3 or to stay at the lv. 2 with a useful ability like Tim Maroch. I think that this is a good card but I prefer other draw cards such as more and quick draw.

my rating is 3.5/5

Blood and Water:

Fullmetal Alchemist tends to be very weighted towards card advantage.
At this stage in the game, I think it's safe to say that every deck either runs More!, Quickdraw, or both. Even with the new "draw only up to 8 cards every mainphase" rule, card draw is still incredibly potent, especially in a game where cards sitting in hand can be used to decrease costs.

Blood and Water is probably the most versitile card drawing effect in the game. With a cost of 0 Alchemy, even with the added negative experiance, any deck that wants to can use it. It also draws 3 cards over the 2 of More! and Quickdraw, making it have one extra card of advantage.

Because of all this, Blood and Water can be easily used in a deck from any faction, although, as is typical with card drawing and experiance burn, it will always do better in an Elric deck. An Elric deck packing full playsets of Blood and Water, Quickdraw, Burning the Past, Nighttime, and More! will always have attachments and other cards at the ready. In addition, the Elric level 2s for all of their leaders have great abilities and attributes (maybe excluding Edward Elric, Man of Action) and so getting to level 3 isn't quite as important.

Overall, it is a very strong card, and deserves to be played in most decks.

Rating: 4.5/5
