Edward Elric, Good Harted

Not a fan of this lv 2. 7 command isn't my favorite thing in the world But can be made up for with a good ability. I don't think this ability can Make up for it. Resetting allies can be good but if it then gets defeated you wasted an action. You might not even be able to save him. I prefer the 8 command man of action.

Edward Elric, Good-Hearted:

Good-Hearted is one of those cards that you look at and say "oh, that's an interesting ability, it's too bad Card X is better." In this case, "Card X" happens to be Edward Elric Unbeleiver.

Unbeleiver has a powerful effect and stronger stats than good hearted, and good hearted is an Xe, so why run it?

Good-Hearted is one of my favorite cards for this reason, not many people run it because you have to build an entire deck around it to get it to function at its peak. That and the fact that it's an Xe dampens the general ability.

Good-Hearted gives an assist each turn. I personally love the effect, especially since it helps with Alphonse elric, martial artist. With Martial Artist you can run an arbitrarily large number of als, but sometiems it clogs your hand. Good-Hearted stops the clog with a useful effect, sometimes using up to 3 Als per turn. If you follow this up with a Burning the Past and more card draw, you can effectivly have powerful allies like bodyguard in play on turn 1.

Overall, since its use is somewhat limited, Ed gets a decent rating, but you wouldn't want ot just run it for no reason.

Edward Elric, Good-Hearted

Some Chase Xe cards are really just for show. This card is a perfect example. Good for collecting, but not for play. If you need a LV2 Edward, try using

Edward Elric, Unbeliever

5.5.5

React Wits 6: After you play a wits event, reset Edward.

Better stats, you don't discard, and its more reliable.

Edward Elric, "Good Hearted"

7 Command Elric Faction

Human - State Alchemist - Hero Level 2

4 Strength 3 Wits 5 Alchemy

Search Alchemy: Discard a character card: Reset target character with the same name.

Stat wise: The only Edward Elric level 2 leader that has better stats is Edward Elric, Unbeliever.

Effect wise: The effect is not too shabby. Ever have duplicates of your allies just sitting in your hand doing nothing? Well now, after they attack,

you can reset them by discarding the copy of that ally. However, you've got to have the allies in your hand in order to reset them. But at least they don't have to have the same name and subtitle, which makes this effect much more useful.

Honestly though, the allies you would discard to reset your allies in play, you are better off having them in your hand so you don't have to re-recruit them and lose those valuable attachments. The only allies that are really worth resetting are the super useful 8+ cost allies, which you can't play with this Ed. But all in all, this effect is pretty good compared to the other Edward Elric leader effects.

Last word: This Edward leader is not bad at all, but I would probably go with Man of Action. Has the same stats AND 8 command. Though, Good Hearted has a much more versitile effect. Kindof a tossup there...

Edward Elric, Good Hearted gets a 3 out of 5 from me.
