Lujon, Locally Famous:

To me at least, Lujon, Locally Famous is one of the more interesting of the cards from Seven Deadly Sins. He is another strong Homunculus 8-cost, with both a huge wits count and a decent amount of alchemy, not to mention a very powerful effect.

Trusted Advisor has been at least a moderately strong card since its release, and Scar, Life On the Run is incredibly powerful. Lujon's effect protects powerful leaders from cards like Yoki and Lust, Torturer, but also does have the downside of not allowing them to play certain battle events. However, with the addition of the 6-cost intimidation cycle in SDS, in addition to the powerful Icy Gaze, it really isn't a terrible problem.

Then, the only real question to Lujon's power is his other ally (Lust's Little Mistake). Who is a 6 cost which means both turn 1 and under admin recruiting, with a decent augment effect that can get back key allies, and other allies like Shou Tucker, Bait who serve no other purpose than temporary disruption.

Both are fairly powerful, but since Copycat receiving errata, I think Locally Famous may be the best 8 cost Homunculus has, so it will receive a decent rating.

Sealed: 4/5 (again, if you can play it, do so.)
Constructed: 4/5 (Time may or may not refute me on this one.)

Darktaro

Today we're looking at a new Homonculus ally, Lujon Locally Famous. Lujon has the honor of being an ally that never had any previous versions, so is it worth putting in your Homonculus deck? Looking at the attributes alone says yes. At 4/7/5 it has one of the highest wits for his cost matched only by Sloth Miss Director, and beat only by Envy Shadow, and Spotters, Forward Observers. In addition to have really high wits he also has something that very few Homonculus allies have, a decent alchemy stat. Will you assign to every alchemy location? Probably not, but it may come in handy in certain locations, Aquaroya Hospital comes to mind immediately because of its wits battle and alchemy goal.

A Quick Alchemy: 2 gives it a great built in pump potential, however there may be little Alchemy events you will run that you caan pitch for the quick. Its second ability is an added bonus, giving your leader a sort of Trusted Advisor for as long as Lujon is unset. However, don't be afraid to set him in order to battle a character because as I mentioned he has great stats.

He's a great addition to any Homonculus deck running an 8 command leader. He even has the villian keyword to give him a bonus to wits with Envy Vicious and effects the Icy Gaze event. There are not many downsides to him so run him if you can.

Sealed:4/5-If you have Envy Vicious, or draft the 8 command Pride, this is a brutal ally.
Constructed:5/5-Another great Homonculus ally.
