The Rundown: Frank Archer week begins with on of his level 2 leaders. Decent Strength and really high Wits. As far as his ability goes, we've all had those times where there's just no kung-fu in our hands to help us in battle, so his ability helps with that situation. And thus, his subtitle is very fitting.

The Downside: Fairly high Wits, but only 7 command. And as far as his ability goes, unless you use a character to stack the top cards of your deck prior to using it, there's no guarantee that you'll do anything but put 4 useful allies/attachments/advantages on the bottom of your deck.

Final Word: While this Frank Archer leader isn't bad, I think I'd recommend going with his other level 2 if you can. He has 8 command, stats that aren't much lower than this, and he also has a pretty useful ability for combat.

I give Frank Archer, Contingency Plans a 3.5 out of 5.

Welcome to Archer week. Poor Archer didn't get any love in the show, and he's not getting any from Joyride either. His cards have interesting effects, but the main problem is the lack of a 6 command. Let's hope he gets one next set =).

Now for today's card. The stats look good, 7 wits is the highest your going to get from a level 2, and 5 strength is average. The effect lets you search for battle events during the search phase. And since the wits cost is only 1 more than his base wits, Hakuro lets you use it for free. However, in order to make Archer's ability effective, you have to run a lot of battle pumps. Also, you only get to keep 1 of the pumps you draw. I think when they were making this card, they were afraid of creating another Tim Marcoh, Clever Deserter. Marcoh was good because you could easily generate 2+ cards of advantage every turn. Frank can search for a battle event of any attribute, but he can only grab one. Still, card advantage in any form is good.
