Lionhart

Hey and welcome to Friday, the last day of Greed week! Onto the BEST Greed in my opinion. The card's text should have been, I can't be beaten. His effect is great and it's only four words! Oh the humanity! Great command for a level 3, and he's a rebel. I've been saying this all week, :P. This time around, this isn't Greed's only level 3, he's got another named, Greed Combat Form, but this is still better. I'll keep this one short and sweet.

Final Judgement on Greed, Ultimate Shield:
~~~
5/5
Cons: I just wish he was the level 4 instead. Having 12 command + this effect = pwnzr.
Pros: Four words: Greed cannot be defeated. Great 10 command, great stats, rebel, and cool art.
Effect: Greed cannot be defeated.
Pretty good for a four word effect, huh? Although this Greed lacks in stats, he has a solid effect. Here are a few cool things you can do with Ultimate Shield.
+Assign him to a location with multiple battle types, without fear he's going to get toasted by a Fletcher or something =P.
+Assign him to a location with alchemy as the battle type. He can still count towards attribute goals.
+Ram him into other characters with the same stats. This one's probably the least useful, but the most fun ^_^.
And you don't have to worry about your opponent playing a pump and defeating your leader!
The only thing I don't like about him is that he only has 5 wits. Mugear can set him before he assigns, and Mugear will most likely come out before you get to level 3 (Envy and Shou decks).
The only other Greed level 3 is a chase exclusive, and his effect does not measure up to Ultimate Shield's. So this is the Greed to run.
Rating: 5/5 (Great Effect, Average Stats, 10 Command)
"Greed cannot be defeated."
The Rundown: We wrap up Greed week with his infamous level 3 leader.
Ultimate Shield has been featured as a Rare in Alchemist’s Gate and has also appeared as a preview card in the Transmutation binder. This is the only leader so far that has the ability “Cannot be defeated.” This means that you can send him and at least 1 other character to just about any location.
The Downside: As with all of his leaders, this Greed only affects himself.
In addition to that, in order to balance out the sheer power of his ability and the fact that he has 10 command, his stats are a little weak. 5 Wits for a level 3? Not all that great. Good thing he has that "cannot be defeated"
to fall back on.
Final Word: I would almost recommend going with Greed’s other level 3 (Greed, Combat Form), but that Greed is hard to get your hands on and his ability is a little harder to pull off. This Greed’s stats aren’t terrible, he has 10 command, and a very cool ability. So, I would at least give this Greed leader a try for level 3 and see how it runs.
I give Greed, Ultimate Shield a 4 out of 5.
