Character Bios

Scar's mentor from Ishbal, a holy man. The two got separated when Kimblee attacked the group of refugees they were part of. Upon learning of his student's "crusade" against State Alchemists, he counsels him on the teachings of Ishbala. ("Those who suffer pain can sleep at night. Those who inflict pain cannot sleep.") He later speaks on behalf of the Ishbalans at a refugee camp when Mustang and his men arrive looking for Scar. Scar's teacher was one of the few survivors of the covert group led by Martel. He is never mentioned by name in the anime.
