My whelms were kind of under when this thing FINALLY got revealed, and sure, I still don’t think he’s that good. He’s certainly a very crappy ride. You’re mostly wanting him for the fact he can quickly become a Baleful Repressor combined with something else like Succubus of Jealousy or Demonted Executioner or any combination of the three.

It’s basically new Scharhrot that saves this to a degree. A spent Demonted or Jealousy can then be absorbed from RG circle so that this can copy it in the soul and you don’t lose too much advantage.

Definitely not run at 4 given he’s a crap ride: spare G3s can be cover with Steeped in Sin Scharhrot for more stability but he’s a reasonably good play-enabler.

What’s up, Rogue Squad?!  Man, I remember back when people were wondering what the hell this card did officially for, like, 2 months, and when everyone saw what’s it finally did, people were…well…disappointed.  Seriously, for some Dark Irregulars players, Gastille was supposed to be the final ace for a new kind of deck, but instead, Gastille is a backup Grade 3 at best.  Another thing I hate about Gastille is that he discards two Soul to, essentially, steal their skills, but what makes this bad is that they have to be Grade 2 Units, no higher or lower, but the one thing that pisses me off about that is that HE DISCARDS SOUL!!!  In a Deck where the Soul should always have at least 10 cards in it, you do not blatently discard soul for a temporary skill!  If you want to use Grade 2’s from the Soul, then let Wakstrum or Daybreak-Scharhrot grab them for you, but don’t waste your time on this obsolete Grade 3.
