---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Ben Jackson Ben J's Top 10 Water Cards com Ok, I know water decks are making a comeback, so I'll post you my top 10 watercards (as of 30/12/2004). So anyway, on we go . . 10) 7 Coloured Fish/ Sea Serpant Warrior Of Darkness - What can I say, if you have an Ocean out, you get a 2000 Atk beatstick, for no tribute, that slips under Gravity Bind. Throw a few of these in a deck and watch your opponent sweat. 9) Big Wave, Small Wave - Not the nost useful card, however it allows you to get rid of any lower level monsters you might have on the field in order to bring some heavy hitters out. 8) Gogiga Gagagigo - Great card if you can say it! It'll allways be 2 tributes (unless you "wave" it) but it's worth it to kick a BEWD or BLS in the teeth. Gives any deck some much needed power. 7) Legendary Fisherman - Not quite so good as it first seems, as it dosn't protect LP. However it's magic immunity (with umi) is a bonus, and the stats are good if you can get the ocean out. 6) Aqua spirit - It's a special summon, which speeds up the deck, and can pull off some sick combos. Pity the attack isn't really up to scratch. 5) Gravity Bind/Level Limit - Although thought of as Burner/Stall cards, these fit in well in a water deck, as all 4* water monsters can be played with ALO on the field. Sure to cause a bit of a headache for most people. 4) Nightmare Penguin - The most recent water card published (RDS), it had 2 brilliant effects, firstly it can help clear the field with it's flip effect. Then It acts as a mini umi, boosting all water monsters attack by 200. Combine this with 1800 Def (2000 with ALO) and you have a pretty fantastic card. 3) Levia Dragon - A powerful heavy hitter with a built in field clearer, allowing for a definate 2600 direct attack. Pity it gets rid of your umi. 2) A legendary Ocean - Yes, it isn't number one. Allthough it is undoutably the heart and sole of any water deck, it does not win any games by itself. 1) Amphibious Bugroth Mk-3 - This is the card that wins games. It is a 1700 direct attacker (with umi/ALO) and under a gravity bind can be deadly. It can also be brought back from the grave by salvage (the number 11 water card). In short, a phenominal card, which will earn plenty of fear and respect from most duelists! Well there you go, any opinions? Am I amazing? Or do I not have a clue what I'm talking about?
