Invincible Alliance: My Unblockables Deck - Destroyer This is my primary deck that I use. It consists of 22 Water cards and 18 Nature cards. This article will go into extreme details about this deck, so prepare for a long article before my deck. Water is a great civilization for the following things in my deck: -card drawing -bouncing -unblockables -blockers -weenie rush Here are the cards my deck uses for blockers, unblockables, and card drawing abilities. For card drawing I use 3 Brain Serum, 2 Aqua Hulcus, and 1 King Ripped-Hide. By having card drawing advantage, I don't need to have an even 20 Water and 20 Nature cards. For blockers I use 4 Marine Flower for early game, 2 Phantom Fish for early to mid-game, and 2 Revolver Fish for late-game. For unblockables, I use 4 Candy Drop and 2 Faerie Child. Faerie Child is an excellent unblockable, but I want just enough to be able to take out 6 of their shields. My goal is to attack 1 shield, minimum, with each unblockable. I plan to let my normal monsters weenie rush in the early game to eliminate any shields before I start bringing out my unblockables. For weenie rush I use any monsters that aren't unblockables. These monsters would be: Aqua Hulcus, and 2 Aqua Soldier. I don't have many non-unblockable Water monsters because Nature is used mainly for mana acceleration and weenie rush. Nature is a great civilization for the following things in my deck: -mana acceleration -weenie rush -monster retrieval Here are the cards my deck uses for mana acceleration, weenie rush, and monster retrieval abilities. For mana acceleration I use 4 Bronze-Arm Tribe, 4 Mighty Shouter, 3 Poisonous Mushroom, and 3 Ultimate Force. By having mana acceleration, my deck can speed up the amount of mana available, allowing me to get my strategy started ahead of my opponent. I added in Poisonous Mushroom because I'm able to draw an abnormal amount of cards, which allows me to accelerate more mana from my hand without upsetting the delicate balance. For weenie rush, I use Bronze-Arm Tribe, Mighty Shouter, and Poisonous Mushroom. If you combine the number of Nature and Water weenie rush monsters, they total 15 cards. This means I have a statistical 50% chance of drawing a weenie rush monster at the beginning of the game (after I've put down my shields and drawn my opening hand). My chances increase as my deck starts to thin. Due to the extreme lack of monster retrieval in the Base Set, I was only able to put in 4 Dimension Gate for monster retrieval. However, it's better than no monster retrieval. It helps with bringing out my unblockables as fast as possible. If you consider it along with card drawing, I can draw/retrieve a total 14 cards. This means I can draw/retrieve 46.6% of the cards in my deck (total) after I've put my shields down and drawn my opening hand. The percentage is 35% for the whole deck. So as you can see, my deck likes to speed itself up with mana acceleration while performing kamikaze attacks with my unblockables. My complete deck is listed below.
